Sensors

Vacker supplies all types of sensors for commercial and industrial applications. Vacker also undertakes gas-sensors-detectors-alarms-VackerAfricacomplete design and installation solutions covering sensors and automation for buildings, furnaces, factories, hospitals, oil & gas sector etc. Few of the types of sensors being supplied by us are listed below:

    1. Temperature sensors

Temperature sensors are the most used sensors across any parameters. We supply temperature sensors from -200°C to 1600°C. -200°C is for liquid nitrogen tanks. In furnaces, a high tcryogenic-liquid-nitrogen-tank-temeprature-sensor-Africaemperature such as +1600°C is very common. We supply various types of temperature sensors such as a thermocouple, pt 100, PT1000 etc. We also supply wireless temperature sensors for applications such as hospitals, pharmaceuticals, food factories, fruits & vegetable storage etc. The wireless method involves WiFi, Radiofrequency etc. You can connect these types of sensors to a LAN network, cloud network etc.

    2. Humidity sensors

Humidity sensors are used for measuring humidity in %RH of air. These are electronic sensors used for measuring relative humidity. TYpical applications are medicine storage, fruits and vegetable storages, rooms especially in hospitals, clinics etc. These sensors produce 4-20mA output wgas-sensors-detectors-alarms-VackerAfricahich is then measured by a connected electronic reader. We can connect these sensors to a centralised network such as wired or wireless LAN, Cloud-based storage systems etc.

    3. Gas sensors & Chemical sensors

Gas sensors, Gas detectors and gas alarm systems are widely used in all types of industrial applications. Various gas parameters are Oxygen (O2), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Nitrogen, Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S), Hydrogen (H2), Ammonia (NH3), LEL gases (Low EXplosive Limits), Vinyl Chloride (C2H3CL), Ethylene Oxide (ETO), Benzene (C6H6), Chlorine (CL2), Phosgene (COCL2), Hydrogen Flouride (HF),Hydrogen chloride (HCL), Nitric Oxide (NOx), Nitrogen dioxide (NO2), Sulfur dioxide (SO2), Volatile Organic Compound (VOC), Formaldehyde (HCHO), Combustible gases etc.

    4. Water flow sensorspressure-sensor-VackerAfrica

Flow sensors are for measuring the flow pressure of liquids including water. These are fitted inside the pipes to measure the flow speed. These are electronic sensors with 4-20 mA output. We can connect these outputs to an automation system, SCADA, control panel etc.

    5. Water level & Liquid level sensors

Water level sensors & liquid level sensors are for measuring the level of a liquid inside a tank. There are different technologies for measuring the level of water, fuel etc. Touch method and non-touch methods are available for level sensors. Float switches are the most common level sensors using touch method. in a non-touch method, wireless level sensors such as radio frequency, ultrasound etc. We fix the sensor at the top of the tank. The sensors continuously send a beam to the top level of the liquid. Thus it measures the liquid level.

    6. Fuel sensors & fuel leak sensors

Fuel sensors are for detecting the presence of various fuel such as petrol, diesel, jet fuel, unleaded fuel etc. For various types of fuel leak alert systems, we use fuel sensors. Once this sensor detects any leakage of fuel, it will give an alarm through various methods such as a local siren, phone call, SMS etc.

    7. Pressure sensors

We supply various pressure sensors for sensing the pressure of room pressure, gas tanks, gas pipes, water tanks, water pipes, fuel pipes etc. There are different types of pressure sensors available in terms of the type of measurement. These are mainly absolute pressure and differential pressure. The absolute pressure sensor is for measuring the exact pressure of air or liquid. Differential pressure is the measurement of pressure between two points. This will not be exact reading, but just indicating the pressure difference between the two points. For example, an operating theatre in a hospital has to be in positive pressure compared to the outside of the room. An isolation ward in a hospital ward in a hospital has to be in a negative pressure compared to the outside of that room. For such purposes, we provide a differential pressure sensor for hospitals.

VackerAfrica supplies all types of sensors across the entire Africa,  covering Tanzania, Kenya, Nigeria, Djibouti, Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Cameroon, Djibouti, Ghana, Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Mauritius, Libya, Sudan, Seychelles, Angola, Botswana, Gabon, Guinea etc.
